Our Story
AnkleBreaker Consulting was founded in 2022 by François Cugy — a senior engineer who believed that the discipline required to ship multiplayer games to millions of players could transform any software domain.
The name comes from basketball's ankle-breaker crossover — the move that leaves defenders flat-footed. That's what we do for our clients: make unexpected competitive advances through engineering excellence and AI-powered velocity.
Starting with RLTY Metaverse (€4M funded), we proved we could build real-time systems at scale. Then came Kickdom (shipped in 12 weeks), YumParty (1M+ users), Tooiin, collaborations with Digiteyes and MafiaFoot — each project sharpening our craft.
In 2026, we expanded beyond games. ComptAgent.io, AnkleBreaker Health, our Social Media Manager — all built with the same engineering rigor. Our Unity MCP Server (268 tools, free forever) became our open-source flagship. Today we're a full-spectrum AI-native engineering studio.
